Statements is Making National Headlines!

Celebrity 101 Hairstyles Magazine named Statements Salon & Spa one of the `Top Salons & Day Spas In The USA!' in their September 2004 issue, which hit newsstands worldwide. This national consumer hair fashion magazine has a readership of more than one million women in more than 40 countries, so we are very proud of this newest honor.

The newest Passion Color Stylebook currently features photographs of hairstyles and haircolor created by our talented team of Statements' Image Professionals! This annual publication is respected as the premier international stylebook and it is distributed to salons across the globe. It is the most visually accurate and practical color guide that allows salon clients to show their hairstylists the haircolor and hair designs that they want. I Do! -- Bridal Magazine

Statements was recently invited by their editorial team to participate in a photography session for "I Do"… For Brides magazine here in Virginia. We created special hairstyles and makeup design for their models at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA. This will soon be on the newsstands, so check out the January issue to see our Statements' hair and makeup designs.

Professional Photography Sessions

Our first professional photography session was an extreme success! John Rusnak, renowned New York fashion photographer, created dramatic images featuring Statements' creative hairstyles.

The first day of our photography session took place in our salon and it went better than we could have ever imagined. Wardrobe was brought in for our models from some of the most famous designers in New York City. These edgy photographs really portray our staff's talents and creativity in progressive hair design and makeup artistry. Many of our hair designs celebrate the elegance of upstyles and formal hairdressing.

For the second day of this photography session, we went on location to Tackert's Mill, here in Virginia. Our staff and models had a great time creating these hair designs with extremely romantic poses. We created a wonderful Renaissance feeling with designer wardrobe and props. We even trailered in a horse and goat for some of the shots with our models!

These photographs will be used in our future advertising and marketing materials. They will also be submitted to international, national and local consumer and trade publications. Look for some of these photographs in the January issues of InStyle, Health and Elle magazines.
