Statements Expands!

We are very excited that we will be opening another salon in June! The new salon will be in the vicinity of Statements and is ideal for the young, energetic and passionate clientele. However, we need to come up with a name for the new salon and would love your help.

We are offering a gift certificate of $250 to the client whose proposed name is selected for the new salon. In addition, you will forever be honored by having a part in creating a legacy. Please feel free to send your suggestions to us at Statmnts@aol.com.

Statements is bringing together some of the top D.C. metropolitan area bridal vendors for a Bridal Open House at Statements on Monday, March 14, 2005, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

Each bride will receive a complimentary hair and makeup consultation from ‘The Image Professionals’ at Statements. Bring your groom, bridesmaids, family and friends to take part in this exciting event. With door prizes, samples and goodie bags, there’s something for everyone.

Picture Perfect

Photo shoots with goats, horses, motorcycles and cigars…what’s next? At our latest photo shoot in January, we produced some pretty dramatic images. We weren't sure we could top the images we produced at our last shoot with the horse and goat, but we did! Our hairstylists created edgy, elegant and avant garde looks that we will be entering in the North American Hairdressing Awards (NAHA). This is like the Oscar Awards of hairdressing and we are very excited that we are able to be competitive in these highly sought after awards.

More Passion

Have you seen our hairstyling and makeup artistry in the Passion Color Stylebook? This annual publication is respected as the premier international stylebook and it is distributed to salons across the globe. This February, we participated in our third Passion photography session for the Family Stylebook.

The editors of this publication were so pleased with our work that they invited us to participate in an exclusive photography session for the Passion Upstyles, Weddings, Proms & Party Stylebook! This October we will be working with 40-50 models to create bridal, prom and formal special occasion looks. This is a great honor and reward for our hard work.
